Does anyone happen to know any frequency information about Obed National Wild & Scenic River? It is not a very big or busy National Park Unit compared to many in this area. I have been told and seen documents that Morgan County E911 Dispatches for them. I go up there quite frequently, and the maintenance vehicles have mobile radio antennas on them. If I remember correctly, they have a Chief Ranger and two other Rangers assigned to Visitor and Resource Protection. I have searched the Federal VHF Band without any results. I have also monitored Morgan County Sheriff Dispatch to see if I could catch an NPS Law Enforcement Ranger the past couple of months and reviewed tons of recordings of radio traffic without any results. They may be talking simplex to E911 (which is pretty common in Morgan), or they may be operating on their network or not using the radio often. Cell service is not that great in that area, so radio use is probably their primary comms when they have an issue in the park. If anyone has any information about them, it would be great to know what they utilize.

I have never seen any info on them specifically, although I want to say I've seen before they share frequencies with Big South Fork. I could be completely wrong on that. Either way, I'd guess there is just very little traffic.

I'd love to know and add it to my scanner though!

I seldom pick up any Obed rangers unless they're running tag numbers or calling MCSD (155.565) or Fire & Rescue (1.55.940) for help. Ditto for rangers at Frozen Head State Park.

l've picked up an Obed ranger the last couple days on 155.565. His badge number is 461, just heard him call out from Lilly Bluff Park.
