I looked around OC doing IG search in FCC database and lots of listings for
Condos and some businesses in the 450MHZ range.. Nothing on Castle in the Sand but
their is a private company that leases radios down that way you might want to try..
Course some may be DMR digital now so you need a good scanner capable of that.
I would do search in the 450-470 MHZ range down there as well.

Thanks, Mark. I think I will bring a second scanner and set it to the "Close Call" option and let it run.

Buy a RTL SDR and download SDR# - you can look at the spectrum chunk by chunk and find active freqs. You'll need a computer though...

In some places, I usually just ask one of the guys to show me his radio, then look it up and see what frequencies it covers, then search that range. Sometimes I can get one to key up while I stand there with close call. All they can do is say no.

That's the default frequency/tone combo for most business radios, so they must not have bothered to reprogram the radios.

Nice find!
Please submit to the DB if you haven't already!

I imagine they lease the radios from DelMarVa Two-Way Radio since they hold an itinerant license for that freq.

Spoke to someone in the office and found out they have two channels on their portables:

CH-1 464.550 Housekeeping
CH-2 467.925 Security

Both tones are 67.0 and the portables aren't leased. maus92: I'll send you a PM.
