On my recent trip into Ocean city I noticed that the nightclub Secrets has a radio antenna. Does anyone know what they use it for and what frequencies may be on it.
Also I wanted to know if anyone has the frequency for Secrets security staff

Haven't tried them yet but that is what FCC has for Seacrets

The tower links the radio station to the broadcast tower on the mainland. I think they have added some wireless equipment also but don't know more than that.

Mark, where do you go on the FCC web-maze to get to this search? I've tried a few licensee searches and could not duplicate your results for Seacrets...

Thanks,
-John

Excellent, I was there but apparently the FCC page wanted to see 'OC SEACRETS' and the wildcard feature only works for words after your licensee search query. Thanks for the info on the Long/Lat search. I was able to use Google Maps to narrow it down to LL in DMS and then use the following page to convert it so I can plug it into the FCC search.

http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/bickel/DDDMMSS-decimal.html

To find LL in DMS using Google Maps (It is a little more user friendly for me than the Maptech link you provided), search for your location, zoom in, double click right next to the arrow showing your search and then click 'Link to this page'. In your address bar you'll see an entry like this: &ll=38.374576,-75.070589.

I'll be in OC for two weeks, i'm sure boredom will set in pretty quickly, glad I saw you guys using this - i'm sure i'll be using it often.. Thanks!

John I sometimes have good results using FCC location search engine.
Click on location option...
http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/reports/index.cfm

But you will also need Lat/Lon coordinates so first use online Maptech server
that will get you within a couple miles of your target.

http://mapserver.maptech.com/homepa...060030900,1,1,0&CFID=2817798&CFTOKEN=11536690

Plug your Lat/Lon results into FCC search box with say point radius 3 miles and all radios service
and you will get a good return.
