Ocean Co NJ Rescue into SE Va

Copied Ocean Co NJ 0930Hrs into Prince George Va on 155.2050, used locally as EMS Statewide mutual aid ch. Odd pl, though, 151.4? Didnt see that one listed in the database, but couldve been an error on the part of my rcvr. Def a nice med haul duct.

Anyone else?

The frequency is JEMS 1 but with that PL it was Monmouth County, 186.2 is Ocean.

K, I had thought that, BUUUUUUT--

I could've sworn the dispatcher ID'ed as "Ocean County"...do they patch or have access to one another's frequencies, for instance in a mutual aid capacity?

Monmouth County does not use this freq except possibly for border towns that may have it in their radios for mutual aid but it would be with the 186.2 PL tone and not 151.4

Nope; I have it programmed twice, each with it's respective PL so I can tell the difference. I don't know about mutual aid but in any case the street names tell the story if you're confused by the PL. Er, Google Maps is a good reference since like any search engine it uses key words. I just typed in "West Meadow Avenue NJ" and it went straight to the street I used to live on in Rahway.
