Anyone able to monitor the SAR operation on Tower Road? Looks like a multi-agency along with volunteers combing the woods for a missing person.

I have no idea where they may be, but I suggest trying the SC Interoperability talkgroups on the Palmetto 800 trunked system.

The SAR operation is above Oconee State Park in northwest SC. Comms can be heard on Palmetto 800 TG 40011, SC Interop Regional Govt 3 on the Anderson site. Very likely it can also be heard on Pickens, Seneca, and Clemson sites.

Excellent outcome. Five days in the woods and not extremely dehydrated. Since Oconee county doesn't use P25, I assume the state brought up the radio cache.

Congratulations to Oconee County for their interagency command post operations. Better outcome than what the Feds can do.
