Several times lately I've heard Tucson Fire dispatch a call as "2601" or "2602" Does anyone have any idea what that is?

No, this comes after the unit number(s) "Medic 16, XXX street, 2601, 1100 North, 7400 East"

That is the Apartment, Suite, or trailer lot number, etc.

No, the automated dispatch system announces apartment, suite, or trailer lot number, etc as "Unit one thousand two hundred fifty three" And several of these dispatches have been to single family homes.
