Unknown Talkgroups

I am logging and getting hits on TG 44, uid 4360797

TG 49 uid 4360023

also seeing TG 58, but no uid's, same for 3696, 8234, 17556, 21263, 51204, and

65536, which broadcasts every 30 mins, it looks like, and this is the station ID TG.

I have been receiving site 001-001, this morning I got a hit from site 193-001

also seeing LCN 00-0007 851.05000

LCN 00-0012 851.08125
LCN 00-1066 857.66875
LCN 00-3027 869.92500
LCN 11-0385 890.241625
LCN 12-0100 unknown
LCN 15-0065 unknown

Not sure if these are talk around channels, or patches from other agencies or counties.

I am waiting to get a stand to mount my second antenna so I can get better data using Unitrunker.

Right now my signal is very weak, and I am missing a lot of data.

TG 44 has a lot of users

It looks like uid's 4360745 to 4360960 are using this TG 44.

It is not on the list, so not sure what it is used for.

The other uid for TG 49, that is the radio techs testing that TG.

Same for 58.

Found some more info

I managed to find out what some of the unknown freq's that showed up in the log are.

One is for the SWN, that is used by the SP, so I am guessing they linked into that network for a patch of some kind.

Another freq they used twice is for a gas company, and there was some sort of leak, so they managed to patch into that system as well.

The rest, I don't know what they are using them for. There are no licences for the freq's, so maybe they are tesitng them, maybe they are low power talk around, not sure.

I now see 4 sites, with ID's 001-001, 001-004, 193-001, and 196-007

The only one I know for sure is the 001-001, and that is in Hilltown, or near Hilltown.

As for TG's, there are now 61, from 0 to 60 continuous.

Many of these new groups, I have no idea who is using them.

I have not had the time to dig into the logs to find who is using them, or when.

There are also some strange ones, that are probably errors, or something unique.

They are :

563,3696,7999,8234,16499,17556,21263,51204. and the ID TG that was already identified.

I wish I had more time to work on this.

It is a ton of data to look through.

I understand about 2% of what I am looking at.

But, it is interesting.

I have just started trying to figure out the cell phone bands. I got a new 4G LTE phone, and I found out that does not tell me anything about what freq it uses.

I have found that there are bands, like Band 25 is in the 1900 Mhz range, and Band 26 is in the 850 range, and Band 41 is in the 2500 Mhz range, Band 27 is in the 800 Mhz range, etc..

Seems to have no set pattern.

Anyone know if there is a chart that shows exactly what Band covers what freq's when it comes to cell phones ?

I ask becuase I have no signal here, and I want to put up a booster with an antenna on the roof so I can use my phone at home, but I have no idea what band / freq range I am using.

I may actually need 2 boosters that cover two different ranges.

I know this is off topic, but I called the carrier, and they are clueless, and the manufactuer of the phone could tell me all the freq's the phone can do, but could not tell me which ones it was actually using.

Very complicated.

Just looking for a sheet, like the FCC used to put out, that shows the band, and the channel, and the freq.

Thanks in advance

Some guidance is needed.....

Good day all,

I've been reading this forum recently and am fascinated by all that's involved with the latest scanners, software and monitoring radio systems. I recently got my 996P2 after seeing a coworkers P2 and all it does and can do. Both him and I have the same issue.....we're unable to , following everything we've been reading, change the threshold to 8 (many of the forum articles show this is a good setting to monitor Bucks County)....also, does the 996P2 have the capability of displaying Unit Id's?? I'm using the ARC software and was told I can upload, using that software, the UID's and the units they are assigned to.

Thanks for any advice.....

Hi Guys, I just upgraded to a Uniden BCD 325P2 trunk tracker.

I have been freescan together with radioreference imports to get my frequencies. Unfortunately, despite being able to import my frequencies, I can figure out what information is required for "APCO band plan".

As import frequencies all is well, except for my APCO band plan. I am required to input frequencies and spacing. I'm quite sure that spacing would be 12.5, but what about APCO band plan frequencies for Philly fire/BUCks fire ems?

Any help is appreciated!
