Ohare Airport ground vehicles

I notice on a lot of ground service vehicles along with some public safety vehicle all have the same VHF antenna on them. I was told years ago that all ground service vehicles had radio access to the towers. Anybody has a clue on what the frequency might be.

I think they usually use the Ground channel for movements around the airport. The last time I took a tour our bus coordinated with the Ground controller for taxiway access.

As Rich says, plus there's a map you can find a detailed map on line with the specific ground frequencies for whichever side of the field they're on. It's a requirement to be on the field with a vehicle.
