OHP Questions

Hello,

I am your neighbor here in Arkansas. I am programming a BCD396T and adding systems for OHP. Is there any best way to do this?

What systems/frequencies do I need to use? These?

Yes those are good freq's to start, are you programming for travel into OK, or trying to hear from where you are?

Programming for a man to travel through the eastern parts of OK. He is a storm spotter.

Well the 800 system is hardly heard much past Catoosa toward the East. I would stick with all the low-band channels.

What about the Tulsa area?

If he gets to the Tulsa area, he needs the 800 system. Just put it in for him and let him see what happens when he gets over here. Better to have it than not and it's not like you are hurting for space in that radio. Not real familiar with that unit but shouldn't this already be preprogrammed? I thought this radio has these (800) systems already in some kind of search set-up.
