I noticed a couple of times in the early morning (5-6 am) I would hear Muskogee is 10-8, I thought that they meant the Troop building. I have now heard during the day that Troopers are now calling to Muskogee and not Tulsa when talking on Troop C ID 2641. Sounds like Tulsa is just covering when Muskogee is 10-7 and not 24 hrs like it had been. Is Troop L doing this as well or is Tulsa still running it 24/7.

I've heard Troop B dispatching Muscogee area calls from time to time but don't recall ever hearing anything NE past Rogers County coming from Troop B. Ill ask a Tulsa Trooper next time I cross paths with one.

If you listen to the Troop L ID you will hear that their dispatches are coming from (Tulsa)Troop B and have been for quite some time. Go to the broadcasity archives and listen and you'll hear them call for Tulsa and not Vinita.

Yeah, I'm probably just too far away to pick up L's TG. I have my SDS100 connected to a GPS when I'm driving around the Tulsa area and usually have my range set to 0, which will still pick up a neighboring county. I'm rarely on the East side of town or farther; mostly central, West and South of Tulsa.

I did take a road trip through the NE into Missouri a few months ago and thought I remembered seeing Vinita pop up on the screen, but don't really remember recall if I did or what was said. I think I had it held on the turnpike ops to listen out for wrecks, stops or whatever else might be in front of us.

Anyways, I'll take a listen and think to ask one of the troopers next time I see em.

I was looking back and I showed:
Troop A, Troop ES, OKC Motorcycles & Troop K-Dispatched by OKC Office
Troop B, Troop C & Troop L-Dispatched by Tulsa Office
Troop D, Troop E-Dispatched by Durant Office
Troop F-Ardmore Office
Troop G, Troop H & Troop M-Dispatched by Lawton Office

Not sure if it's still this way? But hopefully this is a good start to give some clarity.

OHP has gone to regional dispatch centers instead of dispatching from each troop headquarters. Each regional center is responsible for several troops, but any center can dispatch any troop if needed.

Central - Oklahoma City (Troop A, K, sometimes F)
Northeast - Tulsa (Troop B, C, L)
Southeast - Durant (Troop D, E)
Southwest - Lawton (Troop G, H, M)
Northwest - Enid (Troop I, J)

Each troop still has a radio for local dispatch if needed

While that has been the case, for the past couple of months Troop C Muskogee is being handled from Muskogee on the daily from 06:00 till 22:00 then it reverts back to Tulsa. While they were saying Muskogee is 10-8, it has changed to Troop C is 10-8 recently.
