Oklahoma City doing a lot of radio checks tonight with a lot of the troops (troop L) car and handheld units.

Troop A has been doing that the last few days mostly having troopers talk on their hand helds to check how weaker signals getting into the receivers.

Heard them on the OKWIN Pryor and Vinita towers on OHP Vinita L1 (44656)

Heard a couple of more radio checks on Troop L with Okla. City today. They were checking radio ID's that went to each trooper's car and handhelds.

On what System, Freq or ID?

The testing I heard was on TG Troop A metro and rural 41680 and 41776. I was listening to the Norman site.

I don't even have TG dialed in and can hear the troopers talking to okc . I'm not even sure which tower there using . I do know 3 towers with in 30 miles of my location . not bad on a home made outdoor antenna .
