Anyone know if oklahoma county is going to go over to okc's system?? had heard rumors they are but maybe they will just have a patch into the system anyone heard??

I have not been able to find any newspaper articles or information on the Internet concerning the Oklahoma County Sheriff being on the OKC TRS.
When I searched the Oklahoma County website and searched for "trunked" a username and password box popped up.

I haven't heard anything about OCSO, but Moore is supposed to be getting a grant and buying all new radios for police and fire.. Wonder if they will utilize the OKC system!? Anyone know anything else about that?

I could not find any other city or town listed in the information on the OKC TRS, other than OKC.

I quess it will be wait, see and listen for a few more weeks/months.

My guess would be Moore would go with the state system since going with it would allow access to other areas alot easier than the edacs okc is putting into play and would save them some money as well just a thought

I agree with you. Moore can save money and still have a excellent radio system for the city by staying away from the OKC TRS.

As the days go by, hopefully more information on the OKC TRS will start finding it's way to the news and the OKC website.

I really don't think money will be an issue for Moore, with the grant for homeland security.

Money may not be the issue but the feasablity of the system on the state trunk system and the ease of use with patching in with ohp and norman is just some reasons I feel they will go this route since they seem to have more contact with these departments than okc

caught word today that OCSO will spend it's grant money for Courthouse Security.
