Ok, I know most of you don't care about VHF any more, but in addition to my P25 scanners, I still own and use many vintage scanners for nostalgia (BC250, BC260, BC300, BC350, Regency Whamo 10, etc.). The 800MHz system had multiple VHF patches for Utah County, but they all went dead shortly after the P25 system went live (except for the robo dispatch on 153.950).
I'm not sure why, but UC S.O. Law 1 Northwest is back up on 154.860. I know that they have had coverage issues out west of the lake, so that might explain it, but regardless, I'm excited to start listening on VHF again. Interestingly, I am hearing traffic on VHF that is being missed by the P25 system.

Same here in Summit County, the 1 VHF link for Sheriff and the 2 for fire went dark soon after the switch, but they were soon back with 2 out of the 3 having new PL tones.

I had 154.860 (VHF Law 1) locked on for about a week west of Utah Lake and heard nothing.
It went quiet a day or so after I posted that. No idea why it was active for that time unless it was just to fill in for a downed site. At least it confirms the hardware is still there. I hope it comes back up.

Me too.
I'm stuck listening to Law 1 on a scanner app until I plunk down hard earned capital on an SDS100.
Soon.....
