Yesterday there was a brush fire out in Eastern Oklahoma county and several rural agencies responded mutual aid to OKCFD.

While listening on BCFY Calls, I noticed a TGID that has not been entered into the RRDB.

While listening to the traffic on this TGID (65132), they said they had established a patch to VFIRE-13.

Does anyone know if this is only a temporary TGID or has this TGID been used consistently as a patch to VFIRE-13?

I only ask the because I have heard there is a certain range of TGID's that Harris systems use for dynamic patching...

If this is dynamic patching, is it known to be used frequently on this system?

When OKCFD has a fire where they will be working with other agencies that are not on the OKC system they build a patch (usually) using OKWIN TG 3007 to a VTAC channel. We do this exact thing when we request OKCFD. When we request them they are usually assigned to a TAC channel on their own system then they patch that TAC channel to the OKWIN 3007 TG that we use to talk to them on. The 65132 should be a link ID, not a TG but I dont usually pay attention to that part when we need them.

I have not seen activity on that 3007 in a while according to BCFY or any time I've been there while they were working an incident, are you sure that's still the one they use? Are they patching the Metro P25 to OKWIN to a VTAC?

The one I mentioned above was just about a day or to ago and it doesn't show any activity in a long time on 3007...so it doesn't appear that they patched to it that day.

Also, it sounds like you're local. So I have another question about this area. I have heard OK Co. fire mention to switch to I think FG 2 while on OKWIN, but don't see one in the database for OKWIN or the analog system. Are they using conventional frequencies for operations and dispatched on OKWIN or are there unknown tactical talkgroups for OK Co. on OKWIN or Metro P25?

Any of the FD channels on the OKC system can be patched to the OKC FD Link TG on OKWIN which is 3007. This is usually what we request they patch together when we need them since we dont have the OKC system on our radios. Once we get in touch with them on that channel we advise what simplex channel is being used i.e vtac-11, vtac-12 ect. I doubt they patch all three esp since Vtac channels arent on repeaters.

I dont know how Oklahoma County Fire operates so I dont know what channels they use or what, i know they use VHF and 800 so I would assume their tac channels are vhf channels. I dont live in OK County so no need to listen to them plus they sound unprofessional on the radio anyway and I rather not listen to them lol
