Well i had afew of them .. good radios had a touch m 100/ and a touch 300....... Not bad rigs for their time!! i worked for USFS early 80 had a touch 100, in the engine..... although they had hang the sucker up side down in the engine.. they were in the station also so.....

The color scheme you're describing sounds like the Touch M100, Touch M400's.......or maybe the D100, D300, D310, D810......I think they were pretty much all the same radio, just different housings and channel capacities.

Although most of their radios could be used for either a base or mobile, Regency had a radio for the home, and a different radio for the car. The K100 was a much wider radio with a wood grain case and was probably the same radio as the M100 and D100 in a fancy housing.

I bought my M400 around 1981, and they hadn't been out long.

I know I still have the manual somewhere. I think it had bands that were pre programed and the 100 200 300 button looked familiar. I thought it only had 3 preprogrammed bands with, I thought 3 leds, one for each band. Going back to look at the models you mention. Ron
