Old Scanner

Just obtained an old sears5band programmable scanning monitor 3639 and some unused program cards. I do not have any user manual to program the cards, the unit powers up OK.

Programming a card should be the same as for the SBE OptiScan units. Go here for some sources for programming applications. I personally would try Dewey Lawying's Excel Calculator. Makes coding a program card a breeze.

I would also suggest that you first try to program a card with just your local NOAA weather frequency to confirm that the unit is working before investing alot of time making up an entire program card only to find that the radio crossed over "the Rainbow Bridge" long ago.
