Omaha, Nebraska Area Types of Scanners

Sorry if I missed the post I looked around and nothing popped out. I have not been in the scanner world in a while since I have a work radio all the time. What new models and brands of scanners will pick up OPD, OFD, DCSO, SCSO, Sarpy Fire new digital frequencies? I realize the scanners can't pick up our encrypted channels, but just carious. I don't believe the fire channels will go encrypted, so if or when everything goes encrypted you should still be able to listen to fire?

Hi, when I visit family in Omaha, my Uniden 325P2 does great listening to ORION. You will need a P25 Phase II capable scanner. There are some encrypted talk groups but most everything I want to hear in Douglas County comes in great. My goto is the Unication G5 pager (if you don't need a true scanner and just want to hear the ORION system without hiccups). For a scanner, I used the Uniden SDS100 but the SDS100 should also be good.
