Ontario County 700/800 MHz Project 25 TRS

Ontario County officials have filed an application with the FCC, for their new Project 25 TRS. Since they are requesting an STA, I wonder how close they are to going live with their new radio system? Moreover, the new frequencies in this application are from the former statewide TRS, and reads as follows:

As of 21 January, 2011, the New York State Office for Technology (OFT) has canceled the licenses and returned the 800 MHz channels to the FCC that they had planned to use for the Statewide Wireless Network (SWN).

Nice catch, Thunderbolt. I can't imagine they're all that close. The contract was awarded only a couple of months ago. It's interesting, too, that although the County has a site in Canadice, the filing is for a different, commercial site.
