im tryimg to follow LAPD trunked systems but cant seem to find the TGIDs and Alpha tags to do so.

im very new to OP25 but understand to follow trumked communications the TGID and Alpha tag is all i need

i can see all the LAPD frequemcies but hardly any TGIDs

can anyone familiar with usimg OP25 in LA help explain what i need and where the info is so I can generate a .tsv file to follow the different talkgroups (i assume there are many?)

Broadband (user) showed me how he set his tsv file for Las Vegas but the same info seems harder to find for LA

thanks!

LAPD isn't trunked. It's P25, conventional :)

There is a small P2 trunked system on Mt. Lukens, but I do not think is currently being used, outside of some testing.

As previously mentioned, they are not trunked. You do not need any control channels because there aren't any. Program them as conventional.

I don't know what any of that means.

Since your asked your question in another forum anyways, please continue your discussion there.
