OPP Assistance

I have a GRE tripple trunk scanner and am haveing problems entering or understanding OPP System layouts. I can program the zone II frequencys as conventual scannable objects but when I try to enter it as a talk group or use the hex/dec entries on radio refrence I get nothing. anyone with comprhensive scanning of Ontario Goverment Zone onfor mation that works would be greatly apprciated.

You dont have to program the talkgroups. Just program the frequencies in order, Then you will have to enter base frequency, offset, etc.. And you will hear everything.

If there's talkgroups you dont like just lock them out.

When you say "I have a GRE tripple trunk scanner" I'm assuming either a PSR 500 or 600 as you are attempting to get the OPP talkgroups.

as stated above im guessing your using a GRE PSR500 or 600..
triple trunking radios are in most cases NOT digital radios (the analogs are normally listed as triple trunking)

LOL Thanks and thats why I picked that call Sign years ago my brother grabbed the other VA3OPC call sign . Was actualy propositioned by The Police Acadmy to sell it up and refused to.

I havent been active for years . Used to be a bit of a rebel on all the bands and am sure I drove allot into Silent Key Mode LOL. Thinking a bit about picking it up again though perhaps a bit more tempered then last time.
