Will that also apply for the Niagara area?(Come to think of it I don't think I've ever seen an OPP copter in this area, haha)

Probably everywhere but northern and northwestern Ontario.
As for not seeing the copters, maybe your area's cornfields don't have as much weed interspersed amongst the crop !

I heard several OPP helos in the Simcoe area a few weeks back assisting ground units with grow ops, and they where loud and clear on SIM 11 here in Kitchener.

I have heard them on Provincial common 142.770 - in this case they were tracking a vehicle from up above and relaying it to the ground crew, this was on HWY 7 near OTTAWA
and also on Sim 148.765

in iroquois falls they used 411.3125 in january looking for missing snowmobiler for 2 days talking to guys on opp snow machines .was good scanning weekend here

Im was in Bockville the other day and I heard the RCMP Helicopter taking off from Brockville and heading down to cornwall that was on monday I thought it was cool first time Ive heard that.

I've heard that too out at the 35/115 junction south to the 401 west.
Out there they were using VR 01 input 416.5125 (PL 146.2)

The other inputs and pl's if you need them are VR02 on 416.3125 (PL 156.7) and VR03 on 415.8625 (PL 167.9)

These were beneficial before my digital scanner days.
