I just verified the Davis OPS channels on my work handheld and trunker. The RR database is wrong on some of these. As I recall this was a change made during the last UCAN build when rebanding reprogramming occured.

Anyway here is what my handheld has:
NOTE: I have NO OPS 1 channel!

OPS2 Davis 10688 - Used by Fire Dept. dispatch by Davis
OPS3 Davis 10752 - Used by Fire Dept. dispatch by Davis
OPS4 Davis 10784 - Used by Fire Dept. dispatch by Davis
OPS5 Bountiful 10816 - Used by South Davis Metro Fire (medical response)
OPS6 Bountiful 10848 - Used by South Davis Metro Fire (fire response)
OPS7 Bountiful 10880 - Used by South Davis Metro Fire
OPS8 Layton 10912 - Used by Layton Fire
OPS9 Layton 10944 - Used by Layton Fire
OPS10 Layton 10976 - Used by Layton Fire
OPS11 Clearfield 10656 - Used by North Davis Fire Dist. - This is the old OPS1
OPS12 Clearfield 11008 - Used by North Davis Fire Dist.
OPS13 Clearfield 11040 - Used by North Davis Fire Dist.

Database Admin needs to change these on the RR database.

If you submit them to the DB, someone can get to them. We don't always look at threads for new submissions. I would, but I'm not your state DB admin.

Thanks!

Did you submit the changes?

Submitted to Tim.

Here is a couple more I found.

9472 Davis Emergency Management - DB says Davis Sheriff ??
11584 Davis Fire RIT - This is in positon 16 Zone 1,2 & 3 on all Davis County Fire Dept. radios as per the county MayDay procedure and is guarded by all four disptach centers (or should be). It is in position 16 so you can find it in bad conditions by turning the knob all the way to the right. Position 1 has the various dept. dispatch channel (also guarded).

Interesting. Our radios here in Portland are set up the same way. Position 16 is MAYDAY regardless of whether the switch is in zone A,B or C. It is the same in all radios in the 4 counties around Portland, including Clark county, Washington.
Seems as if someone with some fire ops knowhow set it up and it seems to be widely used.
