Speaking of agencies on the system...the SP testing two Fridays ago sounded very good. Solid audio and getting inbound well all around the county, down into Sloatsburg, and up into Sullivan a bit. Nice job by the two fellas doing the testing with their HT's inside the vehicle. ;)

Real world testing can’t be beat ! I just hope SP in OC goes to it full-time like SP Haverstraw, especially with ISSI8000.

I miss when they had the repeater turned on. I could hear the cars clear as day at Newark Airport on my mobile.

Stand by.... I have some good intel SP will be using it full time very soon!

And to echo what GTR8000 said, when I say real world I mean the guys were testing with the radio on their gear belt using a lapel mic, not holding up the radio to the windshield. Test it like you are going to use it. Some people get it thank God.

Washingtonville FD cut over today. Looks like Middle Hope FD is also just about ready to cut over.

With Middlehope making the switch shortly, did anyone confirm a PL/DPL on their newly licensed UHF frequency ? I’m assuming they are finally dumping their EDACS Ops and FG talkgroups...

FIRE Divisions

Can someone confirm....

DIVISION 1BATTALION 1, 2 AND 9
DIVISION 2BATTALION 6, 7 AND 8
DIVISION 3BATTALIONS 3, 4, AND 5

OR

DIVISION 1BATTALION 1, 2 AND 3
DIVISION 2BATTALION 6, 7 AND 8
DIVISION 3BATTALIONS 4, 5 AND 9

The Divison talkgroups are being used as what I equate to the low band “truck-truck.” After the initial unit calls in service on FIRE RESP 1, operations are taking place on the DIVISION talkgroup. Interior ops is still in UHF simplex. Also expect some using their current UHF ops repeaters as well.

And Sparrowbush is using Division 3 so either I screwed up the Divisions big time or they are on the wrong channel.

Holy crap Sparrowbush talk about useless chit chat on the Division talkgroups....Six different “Cars” all calling out to each other, who is going where, sign me in, etc. What happens when 3 different Battalions with all those departments in each Battalion are on a call too? Don’t you have your own company UHF ops frequency? Not to mention you are using up resources on both simulcast cells. Can’t wait until all the bonks start once the system starts getting loaded up with users because of the yahoos that have to constantly talk. Less is more boys !

Still trying to figure out why Washingtonville (Bat 5), Chester (Bat 9) and Sparrowbush (Bat 8) are all on Division 3 !?!? Seems like someone doesn’t know what Division they are in or I’m completely lost.

They're starting to migrate at a pretty quick pace now.

Tuxedo FD and Fort Montgomery FD mobiles were programmed today, so they should be on soon also.

Approximately 1,000 subscribers have been logged on the system so far, so things are moving along.

TG 3014 was not identified as "Port Jervis EMS". What you heard was Port Jervis EMS calling Bon Secour Hospital on a radio check.

EDIT: @RadioComm beat me to it
