call me crazy, but has anyone looked at the signal strength of the prime site CC?

i can normally copy this 85+% from my QTH.. as of today, I can't decode squat. perhaps the CC transmitter power is down?

just a thought.
FWIW
With the control channel programmed in the G4 as a conventional frequency, I'm getting 4 bars of signal strength @ RSSI between -86 to -95. I am hearing traffic normally on my BCD436 (albeit with a bit of some the usual simulcast distortion).

Are you guys sure the site isn’t in site trunking? I believe the G-series has a setting for that which needs to be checked. Just a thought.

Tried that. Actually I usually keep that enabled on all systems I monitor. I can't imagine that the county wouldn't have caught and fixed that after 5 days... ish.

FWIW, my SDRtrunk site in the NW area of orange county is decoding just fine, and has been this whole time, more fuel to the unication only problem

Funny that they have been working just fine for a while then multiple pagers from different people go down at the same time, now I heard the Orlando site works fine

I got a chance today to run an older version of OP25 on both the main simulcast site 1.1 and Disney site 2.1 and compare the traffic information received by OP25. While site 2.1 information populates perfectly, site 1.1 does not but TSBKs are being received with no errors. Also OP25 works with encrypted audio on 2.1 but noting is received on 1.1. So it appears the band plan and other critical info is not coming over the control channel for site 1.1 only. See pics of OP25 for both sites below.

And since Unication devices rely on the bandplan being received over the control channel, it's not going to work.

So is this something that can be shut off or did something break in the controller?

P25 systems don't need to send out bandplans but 99% do. Most subscriber radios already have the bandplan programmed in so there's really no need for it to be sent out over the air.

I assume scanner owners are manually programming in the bandplan to get around the issue. Will have to wait and see what Unication comes up with.

Is there a way to add it to a unication. Also why would the other sites still be sending it and not the main one?
