Whare did the 159.0450 East designation come for WA State OSCCR because the only OSCCR frequency used in spokane is 156.1350 to my knowledge.

Hmmm dunno, I show it as an input for WSP in the Okanogan on my list. Have it in all my machines and come to think of it have never heard anything on it.

154.6800 (123.0) R 159.0450 Okanogan County Patrol Operations

Doing a search for that frequency within the state of Washington beings up 14 returns. 13 being "Washington State of" (all WSP detachments primarily on the West Side of the State) and 1 being "Cowlitz County of." I've had it programmed for ever and have never heard any traffic on it in my neck of the woods. I also can confirm that at least a couple fire depts, including mine, in the county are using 156.135. One dept uses it as a tac frequency to talk to an incoming ambulance.

WPZJ608 is licensed in Okanogan County to the State of Washington.

I only got nine licenses on a statewide search of the FCC Genmen, five are in Okanogan County and licensed to the State of Washington.

While I am sure you have already googled it, scannerstuff.com, reports 159.0450 to be an input for 155.5050 in Skagit/Island Counties.

Considering geographic isolation, I would say you are onto something and this is nothing more (now) than an input reused by WSP.

Again, I have had it in my machines since relocating to the Greater Spokane Metroplex a couple years back and have never heard a peep from it. I have also been keeping notes and have poured over them with negative results.

Perhaps this was something else at one time (like the 'old' air channel) but now it appears to me to be an input. Good work, thanks for pointing this out.

Nice work yourself. I just was looking at the Control Points, not the actual location.

I'm constantly finding freq's that are no where to be found in the FCC database, but are in full use here in the valley....

Far Eastern Washington...
I have WSP broken into two groups in my scanner for Eastern and Western Washington. I have both freqs in both groups and have never heard anything definitive on it, while running back and forth across the state, other than some intermod. Maybe I just haven't been in the right area but most of what I hear on 156.135 over here is Troopers using it for the occasional car to car. And now, they are using it while doing the "Seatbelt Emphasis" here in the Issaquah area.

OSCCR (156.135) cannot be used here in Grant County. The input to 158.850 is 156.150 - 1 channel up, so ALL police/fire radios have OSCCR locked out.

To be honest I have not programmed OSCCR in any of my other radios. Makes me wonder what I am missing when I travel to Spokane.
