Does any one know the talkgroup number for Ohio Highway Patrol, Lancaster Post 23? I searched the DB and didn't find it.
I can confirm that, I have never heard any OSP traffic on MARCS-IP in Central Ohio.As of yesterday OSP in central Ohio isn't using the new system. I asked a resource that uses it.

I haven't heard any activity on MARCS-IP with OSP either. I just wanted to know if anyone knew the talkgroup number and it just hadn't been reported to the DB yet. I am eager for OSP and Columbus to switch over. It will be nice to monitor one radio system instead of three.

Has any transition to a new radio system ever gone as planned. But I won't hold my breath.
Kind of harsh, switching out a statewide system with thousands of radios is no walk in the park. I believe the delay with OSP was due to interference between their mobile repeaters which link to the portables on 700MHz and the use of 700MHz channels on the new system. OSP needed to update all their mobile repeaters, not an easy task.

Speculation only, but I'll bet the problem was found during initial testing. I suspect the budget cycle played a factor in the delay. As far as the cost of the system upgrade, I believe they issued Certificates of Participation which will be paid back by the user fees they collect vs your income tax check
