Ohio Highway Patrol Post #14 (Wilmington) trooper shot and killed some slime ball who thought he was a bad ass when he was drunk.
After a brief struggle the "victim" produced a gun. The trooper then produced his own gun (SIG P226 DAO .40S&W) fired once hitting the "victim" in the head and henched won another victory against the fight for being stupid in a no stupid zone!
The only link I have right now is the OSP press release about it.

WILMINGTON – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing their investigation of an officer-involved shooting that occurred early this morning from a traffic stop on State Route 753, south of U.S. 35 in Fayette County. Errol T. Baker II, 26, of 15 Vine Street in Jeffersonville was armed and fired a shot at a trooper before being shot. Baker has since died as a result of injuries received.
This morning at approximately 1:47 a.m., Tpr. James Cress, a one-year veteran from the Wilmington Patrol Post, stopped Baker’s vehicle for suspected operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI) on State Route 753, south of U.S. 35.
As part of the traffic stop, Baker, who had an extensive criminal history including drug and weapon charges and violent behavior, was asked to exit the vehicle for OVI testing. Immediately upon exiting the vehicle, he failed to comply with Tpr. Cress’s orders and a struggle ensued.
While Tpr. Cress was attempting to gain control of Baker, he shot at Tpr. Cress with a handgun. Baker again disobeyed orders to comply and Tpr. Cress was forced to fire his service weapon at him.
Baker was struck in the upper body and was transported to Fayette Memorial Hospital and later taken by MedFlight to Grant Hospital in Columbus. He died as a result of injuries received.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Greenfield Police Department, Washington Court House Police Department, Washington Court House Fire Department, and the Ohio Department of Transportation assisted at the scene of the incident.
