can anyone help me i am looking for somone who can give me the scanner freg for the ottumwa ems i get the fire calls but not the ambulance calls if anyone can help let me know thanks

i have got to the data base and punched in ever code and still nothing not as much as a page out for ems if you can help in anyway let me know

They may not actually get paged out like the fire department does.


I dont know about your specific area, but here, the ambulance service is from Trinity Regional Hospital, not the fire department.

I dont know how they get called out, But I know they dont use voice pagers. I believe the LEC calls the hospital switchboard on the phone.

155.175 is the freq, they don't page out ambulance like fire, I believe the use some other paging type but they are dispatch from the hospital ORHC

The ambulance is hospital based.

It was that
911 calls for ambulance got hot-lined to the dispatch office/ED from the city or county If a paramedic isnt sitting around to take the calll a nurse will. They page in house over head and via the local paging company and call on the HT as well. Or they may not page at all if there is a crew and they just roll

Its been over 10 years since I have been there so the could well now be using alphanumeric pagers/cell phones.

i have another freq for ems not sure why but i hear more this 453.2375 than i do on 155.175
