Fire Hits Broomfield Apartment Building

BROOMFIELD, Colo. -- At least 20 people were evacuated early Monday morning after fire hit a Broomfield apartment building.
North Metro Fire responded to the fire at 7045 W. 120th Ave., at about 2:30 a.m.
All 15 units in the building were evacuated as firefighters battled the blaze.
Residents were moved to a church next door for shelter.
At least five units were damaged in the blaze which is believed to have started between the second and third floors.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, but arson is not suspected, according to firefighters.
