On Saturday afternoon, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for two accidents within minutes of each other. The first was on Rt 472 at the Rt 1 Bypass and the second was on Rt 10 at Rt 1.
Deputy 21 and Rescue 21 made the response to the first accident and found it to be minor.
Engine 21-2 made the response to the second crash and went on the scene with a two vehicle accident with one confined. Lieutenant 21B took Command and requested a second ambulance to the scene.
