P25 Antenna

I live about 20 mins from the P25 tower so I need a good p25 antenna. I need a base one or outdoor antenna.My scanner get some of the info and then nothing . Could you give me a place where to get a good one .I have a bcd996xlt bcd796xlt.

Right, P25 is a mode, not a frequency. You need to get an antenna that is specific to the frequencies being used. The mode (P25) doesn't matter.

OK. It looks like you need an antenna for 800MHz.

You have lot of choices. Here is a good all around scanner antenna that would work for 800 and other bands: DPD Productions - Scanner, Aviation, NOAA, Mobile Radio Antennas for Commercial & Hobbyist Applications

20 minutes away? Mileage varies in 20 minutes, but you may need a 800mhz yagi if you're going 20+ miles.
