P25 settings

WhT is a decent setting for p25 listening to valdosta ga and others some come in clear while sometimes a reply may sound like they are under water just heard an officer say he had one at gunpoint and whoever answered him was under water sound if anyone heard the same thing

That's what I would like to know as well some P25 systems sound fine and some others sound like garbled or muffled.

Yea and what don't make sense is its the same system its not like one system does it and another don't this is the same system same dept some clear and some garbeled

What is it showing for decoding error? If it's in the single digits, then it might be an AGC issue many of us are also having.

Press Knob, then Func then Knob again and wait for a P25 transmission to see what the number next to error says.
