On the 996P2, there are two different digital threshold settings: P25 & DMR. Yet on the BCDx36HP models, I only see one threshold setting that just says Digital Threshold Mode.
Here are my questions:
- Why are there 2 separate settings on the P2 scanners and only 1 on the X36HP scanners?
- On the X36HP models, does the one setting work for all digital modes (P25, DMR, NXDN)?
- Finally, why isn't there an NXDN threshold setting on the P2 models?

For the x36HP models, you can change and/or set the digital threshold settings for NXDN but it must be done via the scanners menu at the site level. For some reason, the option to change or set this setting is missing from Sentinel. It seems like a bug if you ask me as you can use Sentinel to change the settings for P25 and DMR systems, just not NXDN systems.
But do a Manage Favories and edit a NXDN system, go through the menu tree until you get to the Edit SIte menu and select your NXDN site and you will find the digital threshold settings there.
I have no idea why NXDN systems have no option to change these settings in the P2 models but I noticed that same thing.
So far, all my NXDN systems work just fine with whatever the P2 model is using for that setting. I assume it's in an Auto mode.
Maybe another bug in the P2 firmwares that excludes setting the digital threshold setting for NXDN systems?
The settings for this are also scanner wide and effect all systems in the radio. I'd much rather be able to set the values per system instead as not all need adjusting.
