P25 & Whistler 1040 Issues

I just got the WS1040 and I think I programmed correctly for Clearfield county Police Dispatch in Clearfield PA, but when it scans it picks up no traffic. Is there something special that needs done when scanning?

If it’s a phase 2 system, the scanner is not your best choice for listening

Are you monitoring from within Clearfield County or elsewhere? Seeing any bars or signal at all? Monitoring indoors or outdoors? Are you able to pick up fire & other services? The more info you can give us, the better to help us assist you in your troubleshooting efforts

Attach your programming file here in .zip format.

Put your squelch at about the 10 o'clock position, make sure the rod antenna is fully locked into the radio. Push in the antenna and give it a twist. Not the connector on the radio itself.

If your trying this one, it is phase II and it's incapable since your radio is only phase I.
