Just tried P25 on my 8600. My R30 decodes P25 allot faster. Is there a tweak for better decode On the 8600?

The R30 scans a lot faster than the 8600 maybe it has something to do with it ? (just a guess)

What I am seeing is the time it takes to decode the P25. I will dial to a nice spike in 800 Mhz band. Once I get on freq, change to P25. Its sits there a bit before decode happens. The R30 is almost instantaneous.
When you did your tests, did you use the same antenna on both radios ?

Yes. Have a multicoupler to attach 4 radios. My findings were on a quick scan When I get time, I’ll look into it deeper.
