I have an R9000 receiver. It is my favorite listening point. I would like to utilize the 10.7 MHz IF tap to drive an SDR type receiver and display waterfall on a large screen and perhaps demodulate some different digital modes. The 10.7 MHz tap outputs a signal level corresponding to the antenna input unless AGC is activating. The bandwidth is 230 KHz wideband filter used for wide FM broadcast. I am open to recommended hardware and software. The SDR of course will need only to receive HF. However I will need to decode FM and other modes atypical of HF. One thing I would like to be able to do is tune a swath (230 KHz) and record that swath at baseband and decode post recording in whatever mode appears.
