Where would port authority pd‘s comms take place when they are out of their area? There’s a whole bunch of their motorcycles out here on Long Island (Suffolk County) at a funeral home. Was just curious?

we have had many officer funerals down here, i guess the weather might come into play.
and the last call for the officer was/is on an 8tac, usually 8tac92.
and then you get to know how all the motor(cycle) units mount up at the same time.

Negative. Saw motor cycle guy on a portable and an another using the mic in the RMP.

Nypd was easy when they were out this way as they used a tac freq (simplex).

A few days ago, and not sure if the funeral was NYPD or MTA PD, MTA PD units came out into Nassau and were shutting roads and MeadowBrook Parkway and used a tg on the MRRS system along with NYPD highway Rmp's.
