July 1, 2007, Phoenix Fire will be taking over the fire protection responsibilities for the Paradise Valley area. Rural Metro is out Phoenix is in. Old Rural Metro Fire Stations 828 and 829 will be staffed by Phoenix Fire and what I an wanting to know what will be the Station numbers and equipment assigned, if anyone knows. Today, on another board I saw the station number 92 pop up as one of the stations.

Paradise Valley

Phoenix began responding from the two Paradise Valley Fire Stations on July 1.

It was said the stations would be 91 & 92.

Can anyone confirm this and has anyone heard a response yet. I am California during the summer and unable to monitor any Phoenix Fire Traffic due to the fact I am unable to access any monitor scanners from the internet. None seem to be working.

I heard 91 & 92 on a call or two as well as a Utility truck in the 600 series get sent to a PV station on the 1st.

As for a PhoenixFD feed, check out http://stream.electropost.net:8000/icp963.ogg which should be back opperational this evening (provided it was only the power supply that died on my computer that feeds it).

No problem, I was glad the power supply was a standard ATX veriety, HP can get crazy with power supplies sometimes. I still want to get the aplha tags working on the right side so I can have it scanning insteed of just locked on Fire 1.

I actually like the fact that the right side is locked on Channel 1. That's just my opinion though.

Well, if I can get the right side working like I want it to I will put the Fire 1 in the center of the audio field and have the left and right sides scanning.
