Working on figuring out the comms plan. So far I have confirmed that VECC FD 5 is Operations for Unified Fire, and Summit Tac 1 for Summit Fire. Scanning other resources now to locate other active channels.

Air Attack and Air Tankers should be on 127.475 am, Initial Attack (IA) is very important right now since firefighting assets are
limited in the West due to all the fires.
Also monitor:
168.65 nfm National Flight Following for the air tankers
168.625 nfm Air Guard
168.55 nfm smoke jumpers
122.925 am rotary wing communications
Monitor the air attack frequency for air to ground frequencies.

Just got this. Now I want to head up there tomorrow and watch then grab water out of the reservoir:

“Jordanelle Reservoir will be closed to ALL water activities Sun August 15, for fire suppression activities for the Parley's Canyon fire.”

Awesome. I know they were dipping Little Dell this afternoon. It's a bit closer but pretty low right now. They also want to be out of the way for fixed-wing ops.
