I had an old bc345 that wasn't picking up the EMS channels. One was very loud squawk. The other was silent. I thought maybe it was my scanner so I got a new one, digital. It's the same thing. Both channels, which are programmed according to the numbers on the Database, are not picking up traffic for EMS. Can someone help me out, please? Thanks.

I programmed in 155.6550 Pauls Valley EMS in my Scanner all I hear on is Mototrbo Digital I need to get a cable and program it in to my Motorola XPR-6550 handheld to find out what its is. I also see on the database that Garvin Co has 2 EMS/Fire channels.
