According to the Data Base, Pax Riv. operates a Motorola Type II system. I have a Radio Shack Pro 95, programmed for the Frequencies, Offset, Base, and Spacing per the RR Data Base.but cannot hear a thing, even with the radio in Open mode. I am about 3 miles line of sight from the base which seems within reasonable range. Any suggestions on what I'm not doing correctly to receive this system would be appreciated.

We had a thread on this recently, but I can't put my finger on it. I believe the poster discovered most of the ops have gone to the 380 mhz fed/mil trunk, which cannot be received on the 95. Evidently no one put a ticket through to remove the old 400 mhz system from the database, and no one has taken the old system out of the wiki either <sigh>

You'll need a digital trunker...

best regards..Mike

Most if not all operations have moved to the new system.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like a digital radio is in my future - sometime!

And someone should put a ticket out to the DBAs to drop that old 400 mhz listing...best regards...Mike

[edit] Which I have now done - as well as dropped the trunk system refs from the wiki listing...
