It's just standard P25 digital, with one conversation per channel. Since some TDMA Pre-Phase II systems are starting to show up, they wanted to have some way of differentiating them in the database. Those TDMA systems allow two or more conversations at the same time, and cannot be monitored using any of the currently available scanners.
