Sorry if this has been answered, I did a quick search and could not find anything. Does anyone have frequencies for the PHI Air Medical helicopter out of the Purdue airport? I can't find anything online, not even in the ULS.

Here in Lafayette, IN, I've had to use CTCSS 67.0 Hz, on the AirEvac Service Helo's, as the Cannon Trucking from Tipton comes in when they are in the area. I've got the three other freqs loaded, and occasionally hear the Indy helo freq. Their CTCSS appears to be 67.0 Hz also.

although not directly related to the topic, the kentucky forum has a thread that could help with monitoring air-ambulance traffic called medical helecopter. a lot of PHI related post. freqs will be different, of course.

Heard and saw PHI Helicopter landing at Purdue Airport today 5/6/05 @ 14:55 on 159.90000 (Indianapolis frequency) with CTCSS 186.2.

The frequencies they are known to use are:

PHI W Lafayette 159.73500
PHI Indianapolis 159.90000
PHI Columbus 160.00500
PHI Anderson 160.20000

PHI Air Medical uses 159.990 (186.2 tone) simplex here in Dallas for AirMed 2 (McKinney), AirMed 4 (Dallas Executive Airport) and AirMed 6 (Corsicana). Soon AirMed 8 will be based a Meacham Airport in N. Fort Worth.

Don't forget they also use the medical freq. 155.340 when going to a hospital.
