With respect to Philadelphia the RRDB system notes reference site 3 and site 4 but I don't see a 3 or 4 listed as sites.........of course I could be missing something. TYIA!

I just noticed today that Zone 2 Similcast seems to cover exclusively PD and maybe some services. In the past the fire talkgroups also used to come across Zone 2 in addition to Zone 1. What that means if you use a non-scanning device like a radio or Unication pager that can only monitor one site at a time, now you'll have to choose whether you want to hear Police or Fire. It is unknown if the change is permanent.

My home 20 eating pizza.
No coffee yet today so probably not reading that right but that will simplify things for my listening in the few times a year I make it through the area. I have no desire to listen to PD, EMS, or anything besides fire so thumbs up from me if I only need to program 1 and not more. Not being an everyday monitor I’ve always added both 1 and 2 and let the SDS pick up whatever it picked up.

Thumbs down from me since I have no pick up on Zone 1 from home, only Zones 2 & 7 which both carry PD, the latter being a fill in site that only carries traffic from units currently affiliated to it. Luckily I work well within range to Zone 1 so if I'm jones'in for Philly Fire and want to pick it up with a physical receiver I have full control over, I'm not totally out of luck :ROFLMAO:
