I am using a pro-96 and I am trying to track phoenix PD maryvale. I am able to her dispatchers clearly but the officers break up. Any help, comments or suggestions would be greatly appreaciated.

Make sure you have the latest DSP & CPU firmware and a good antenna. Even then it's hit or miss. That's just the way the PRWN goes. Sucks. I'm hoping that 700MHz will perform better but I don't know if your '96 will track it once they make the jump.

I hear the GRE PSR's do much better on this system. If I can just convince my wife that I really do need another $500 scanner, I'll be able to confirm that rumor. But, alas, that will take a while. I'll need to buy her $500 worth of presents first. Women...
