PL Tones

Hi all, Does anyone know if it is possible to program specific PL Tones into any of the following scanners?...Pro-23,63,107,2038? If its not possible than how do I know what PL Tone it uses?

Only the newer Pro-107 has PL/DPL capability.

The other, older, three models receive in CSQ. In plain English, it means they receive everything that is broadcast on the programmed frequencies regardless of any PL/DPL tones that may or may not be present.

If your scanner does not have the capability to decode PL tones, then you don't need to know.

How do I get the 107 to display PL/DPL tones?

In the SETTINGS menu uncheck SIMPLE DISPLAY. If you have PL/DPL tones entered then they will be displayed or if the tones are set to SEARCH for frequencies you are not sure about, and a code is found, it will be displayed.
