I'm talking about the title of the thread... It indicates he was flying a US Customs plane and I've not seen anything else about that.

That was what was first reported. Even the ground parties were told it was an F-15 at first. So many conflicting stories at first.

Yes, It was first reported that it was a US Customs plane that crashed. After about 40 min in listening I noticed it was not. By then the post was started. Guess I just should have started post with Plane Crash in Santa Rosa County. At the time I posted it the officals were not sure exactly what County Escambia FL or Santa Rosa Fl. The FAA out of Atlanta,GA was able to pinpoint the transponder from the crash site. I found out about it first by listening to a Whiting Field Crash Truck. I first thought it was a drill. Turns out it was not. Then I started listening to Santa Rosa Fire and confirmed what I had heard over the scanner. Sorry about the mix up. The report came over that a US Customs plane crashed and another one was in the area. There was a Customs Plane in the area as well as two Military Jets F15 if I recall. The US Customs plane did have to land because of low on fuel. The F15 Jets flew so low in Milton they woke up several people. Hope this clears it up for you.

I don't think a lot of people know you can edit the title of a post. When you get to the edit screen, click the "Go Advanced" button, and it should let you change the title, as long as it's not a restricted forum.

Is this the same Guy that America's Most Wanted is looking for? Said his window broke and was bleeding, Crashed his plane, got picked up by a police officer after telling the Cop that he and his friends were in a boating accident cuz he was wet from the Knees down, taking to a hotel and then when the cops found out what happened, went back and he was gone??? Wired.

Good. I for one am glad he was caught. Let's just hope he does not get away this time. I also smell a movie script. Anyone out that would like to play Mark ? At last we can all go back to sleep, or at least until next time my scanner stops again.
