Hi there,

I'm using RTL1090 and Planeplotter along with the TellMe program which is used to display alerts. I have them all working except for the email through my gmail account. I pulled out the command line it's using to send the emails and it looks like TellMe is timing out when trying to send to gmails SMTP. Has anyone got TellMe working through gmail, live mail yahoo or any web based email service? I've tried ports in the registry settings to no avail as well. Messages aren't sending and I have everything else working so its frustrating to be THIS close! Thanks for any help!

Thanks n5ims, got TellMe working and sending emails. I think that the issue was because I've switched ISPs. I was using the smtp settings from my old ISP and my current one seems to block them, at least I think. I signed up for a free email address with my current ISP tonight, auto forwarded all mail to my existing, already set up gmail acct on my phone and I am now getting alerts. The only other issue I'm having is wildcards for hex for planes. There seems to be a wildcard built into the sample SampleTM-Alert text file (1;;;;;D;fe$|up$|fd$;UPS/FEDEX) but I can't get them to work when I create my own. They work if I enter the full address of a plane I'm already picking up (C060B1 for example) and then launch TellMe, but neither C0$ or C0% will show an alert in TellMe. AE* just gives me emails for all kinds of planes I don't want. I want to do something like AE* (or the TM equivalent) for hex to get email on US military planes only but no luck. If I could get TellMe to send emails for any planes that start with AE, and also email me when my PC picks them up (instead of sharers in my area, but this might not be possible to set up) I'd be all set. Thoughts? Thank you.
