Philly P25P1 is working well.

Switching is still a problem.

Example:
I'm in Philly P1, press settings, systems, chose Delaware County P25P2, then site Delaware County Simulcast (only one).

Go back to Scanner tab. Shows Site as Delaware County Simulcast, but Site tab still shows Philly & still receiving Philly TGs.

Next:

Close app, force stop, clear cache, reopen app, Settings, Systems, Delaware County P25P2, Site Delaware County Simulcast, Scanner tab

Scanner screen is correct, correct site shown on Site tab - working well

Repeat example from P2 to P1:

Same result. Scanner tab shows Philly P1, site tab shows previous Delco P2, receiving Delco P2 TGs but as numbers, not alpha

Thank you for the detailed information, I'll start looking into this right now. I'll create a fake system so I have an extra one to switch between. Should be enough to test it on my end.

This time, I closed the app, reopened it, selected Philly P1 and it worked. I didn't force stop & clear cache.

It seems that, at a minimum, you have to close the app and then reopen it and select the next system that you want to listen to. I guess the force stop and clear cache were unnecessary.

It's working now. The switch from P1 to P2 takes a few minutes to recognize the correct site. The switch from P2 to P1 takes about a minute.

i am using Ver 1.0.0+7
starting the App seting A P25p2 control frequency, it runs (still not smooth Audio),
then if i stop the channel and input a new DMR frequency, and hit the Play its still runs the P25 channel, it can not switch to DMR protocol.
Starting with DMR then change to P25 does work but this is it,
if i now try to change P25 site frequency its still shows the last channel.

I tried a DMR system last night and it didn't like it all. I couldn't get it to do anything.

I'm going to try some other DMR systems to see if I can get any of them to work and then try switching.

DMR is something that I have not been able to test a whole lot because I don't have a local DMR system, however somebody is loaning me a DMR radio that will give me some time to take a look at this section of code to make some improvements.

I do have samples that have been sent to me but those samples do not play back, due to sensitive timing constraints DMR samples have not worked..

I just noticed that during a P2 to P2 switch, the Network tab, Neighbor Sites tab and Group Attachments contents did not clear.

Whether using the GPS or selecting the closest site, it will not lock on a control channel or detect a site.

It seems that quite a few of the DMR systems are showing "No Control Channels" after importing.

The ones that I can select, seem to show Sync Status as "Searching" and Site shows "Waiting for site information".

It imports the TGs, along with their alpha tags, but on ENC TGs, there are no alpha tags imported.

Question:

In the RR Import section, under Available Trunked Systems (after selecting country, state, county), would it possible to list the systems alphabetically?

After I import it and select the system, all sites show "No Control Channels".

I entered the closest CC frequency, using Quick Scan.

It's showing Sync Status as "locked".

It's detecting the correct TGs (without alpha tags obviously).

The audio sounds perfect.

Under the "Site" tab, it shows "Waiting for site information"

No information under the "Network" tab.

"No System Detected" under the "Scan Grid" tab.

Just tried it on my local P25 system and ran into a small issue.

It sounded great, but our county system is shared with a city system (site 1 (Cary) and site 2 (Wake) and both use different NACs. Also, there is a shared frequency between the state system and our county system and when I imported the county system from RR it doesn't import a NAC so I get calls from both the county and state systems.

I tried to use the web programmer and edit the system to add the NAC, but we can't (yet) edit imported sites, so I had to create a new site which allowed me to add the NAC and this solved the issue.

One question I didn't see an answer to, but does this do NXDN as well? I did see you are testing DMR, is that trunked or just single frequency? The other question I have is if I am adding a site with multiple control channels/frequencies how do I add more than one to a site? When I try it only adds one frequency.

The NAC issue is something I'll have to address, as far as NXDN it has not yet been tested and will likely need some changes to the audio framework before it will function.
