Sounds like Stations 40 and 41 have been combined to Station 75 after hearing a dispatch for a co alarm and a chimney fire. i'm trying to confirm this with a friend of mine.
not sure what you guy's mean. have sta-40&41 been combined into 1 house, or do they still have 2 seperate station's ?. what's the actual cost saving's ?. also, did they build seperate quarter's ?. i know neither 40 or 41 can hold all the equipment.

One station (department), 2 actual firehouses or locations. It's common in Ocean County. Barnegat Station 11 has 2 firehouses, as does Toms River Station 25, Stafford Twp. Station 47, Jackson Twp Station 55, Brick Stations 22, 23 (3 firehouses), and 24 to name a few. Cost savings? I'm not a financial wizard but I would think it would have to do with budgets and purchasing equipment.
Little Egg Harbor has 3 stations (Parkertown station 70, West Tuckerton station 71 and Mystic Island station 72)
